Erasmus MC (13,000 employees) has launched the so-called ‘Ons Nieuwe Erasmus’ program for efficient and high-quality care. The program initially focused on the renewal of care processes. In early 2016, it was decided to also take “innovative work” as the starting point for the office environment and to develop a new workplace concept for the new building; an environment in which employees can optimally work on complex care, education and research issues. In 2017, the Executive Board decided to also roll out the new workplace concept in the existing office environment. This means a major adjustment of the existing housing and an intensive coaching process for employees to prepare them properly for the new way of working.

WorkWire guides Erasmus MC in developing and implementing the new workplace concept. From its extensive experience with academic organizations, WorkWire translates organizational characteristics, employee profiles and work processes into a suitable working environment. In addition, WorkWire plays an important role in the development and implementation of change management, which also uses Workplace Nudging. WorkWire also unburdens the Erasmus MC project organization by carrying out project management and producing design drawings.
